Pancaro praises Conceicao for inspiring Milan players.

Former Lazio defender Giuseppe Pancaro has hailed old teammate Sergio Conceicao for his brilliant performance in AC Milan’s Supercoppa Italia triumph.

“The Rossoneri came from behind in both their semi-finals against Juventus and Inter Milan to claim the trophy in fine style, with Pancaro, who previously played for Conceicao at Lazio and won the Scudetto together in 1999/00, praising his old team-mate for inspiring the Milan players with their performances in the first two matches.

“We were very close when we won the Scudetto with Lazio, he was a big help, he was strong in one-on-one duels and played a big role in winning the title,” Pancaro said.

“Conceicao has already won the title, which is the สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน most important thing. He brings determination to the team, that’s what he wants. He asks for aggression, non-stop running and seriousness.”

Although he has signed a contract until 2026, Milan have the option to terminate his contract at the end of this season. “It is up to him to stay with Milan (after the summer),” Pancaro said. “He has started very well and I think he has all the qualities to be a coach of Milan.”

“Sergio knew he didn’t have time, so he started with an idea. He motivated the players immediately with his strength, and it was clear that both players [Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao] need a coach like Conceicao, a coach with this personality who can motivate both of them to do their best.”
